/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to= itself ???
-
I have installed my new blog at https://alternative-me.exit-23.net — whereas alternative-me is considered to be a subdomain of exit-23.net. I also own the domain https://alternative-me.com and I have set up a redirect on my server so that if you type in https://alternative-me.com, it goes to the new blog.
The settings in my WP blog are:
WordPress Address (URL): https://alternative-me.com/wordpress (this field is greyed out and uneditable)
Blog Address (URL): https://alternative-me.com
All of the pretty permalinks appear to be working fine except when I go to the wp-admin directory directly. When I type in https://alternative-me.com/wordpress/wp-admin/, the URL changes to one of the following and sometimes will not accept the correct login and password.
If I click the meta WP Admin link on the home page of my blog, the url remains correct and unchanged and allows me to login with no issues.
I do not recall WP working this way on my previous blogs using previous versions. I can’t verify this as I have already upgraded my one remaining existing blog and it is also mimicking this perplexing behavior.
Thanks in advance for any help!
