text in a table entry is full, instead of left justified. More vexing is that words are broken up. Also, the line spacing looks 1.5 instead of single spacing.
How may I submit a screen shot so you can see what I mean?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This is likely caused by some CSS code that we can override, however. Now, unfortunately, I don’t see a table on that first link anymore, but only an image of one? And the second link also doesn’t work for me?

    Tobias

Thank you for taking the time to write.
Alas, I don’t know anything about CSS.
My workaround was to take an image capture from the word document, which works ok.
Tablepress is supposed to alleviate coding.
    I have deleted it.
Thank you again for your reply.
    I very much appreciate it.
    Best,

    Hi Larry,

sorry for the frustration. TablePress tries what it can here, but sometimes themes interfere in a weird way.

If you want to give TablePress a second try in the future, I’ll be more than happy to help!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

OK, I’ll try it again, but not with this table.
I spent about two hours attempting different iterations to see if I was doing something wrong. I even saved my Word file in HTML format to see if maybe there was something wrong with the text.
What really confused, and confuse, me is that everything showed fine in the WordPress post edit mode. After I published the post the line spacing changed, and, even worse, several words were broken up. It as if WordPress was attempting to hyphenate certain words without a hyphenation symbol
Perhaps you might check to see how TablePress handles extended text, e.g., more than one line, within a cell.
For your information, I am using the Genesis Sample Theme.
    Question, while I’m at it.
After I create a table, is there a simple way to edit it? You probably have that, but I missed with.
I very much appreciate your having taken time to follow up with me.
    With Warm Regards,
    Larry

    Hi Larry,

sorry for the long delay, I was on holidays and could not reply earlier.

All this hyphenation is caused by the theme’s CSS, and not by TablePress. Usually, it’s very simple to override that however. For that, I would need to see a page with the table in question.
TablePress does indeed allow editing tables easily, on the “Edit” screen in the admin area of TablePress.

    Regards,
    Tobias
