wordTube & Featured Content Gallery… conflict

  • I love these two plugins wordTube & Featured Content Gallery! But, I am receiving a conflict between the two of them.
    The (FCG) is an image rotator with slide over captions. The captions are the title of your post and the description text is from your post. When I have wordTube activated the text does not show? Everything else works… Could someone please help me track down the cause of the error? These are both very popular plugins and it would be nice to have them work together.

    I have deactivated wordTube so the error is not there but you can see what I mean with the slide over text.

    Anyone have this issues as well?

    I’ve got the same problem over here.

    found this article (german).

    His solution to the problem was to replace “<?php the_content_rss(”, TRUE, ”, 20); ?>” with the_excerpt()

    This might be a solution for you, but as I am using the “massive new” theme (wpelements.com) , this won’t do it for me as the post-thumb is placed in the excerpt.

    So any solution to this is much appreciated.

    The new “Featured Content Gallery” version 3.0 works without any conflicts! Just an FYI if your still looking for a fix.
