    I noticed this plugin does not work with the plugin: Optimize Images Resizing
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/optimize-images-resizing/

    That plugin only creates the media once its really needed on a page. This saves a lot of disk space because I want some sizes created for certain post types but for others its never needed.
    So this make sure the images I dont need are not created.

    But with it, the retina sizes are never made because it doesnt create the images right away and so retina is not fired.

    Any way to make this work?

    I checked the code of that plugin. And yes, it should work, because this plugin hooks in the natural flow of WordPress, create the image and update the metadata. At this time, WP Retina 2x process kicks in. So it should be fine ??
