Work with private/commerical themes outside www.ads-software.com?

Hi there,

Great plugin! Hopefully core WP integrates it someday soon.

We’re interested to know if this can be made to work with themes that aren’t hosted on www.ads-software.com? Perhaps integrated with something like this Plugin Update Checker (PUC):

(which also facilitates self-hosting themes for private clients)
