work with subfolders?

I am thinking of trying this plugin. Does it work with subfolders within the folder selected in the shortcode?
Example: Uploads > File Folder > My Docs
Will it show files inin sub docs if your folder is My Docs?
Uploads > File Folder > My Docs > Sub Docs
