Workaround for field validation error notice

Same issue as this and this. Field validation error message does not name the proper field and the field is not visible in themes with fixed headers. It’s been nearly 4 years since this was an issue and still no fix? And it’s tagged as low priority despite this being an important default part of the plugin and fixed headers being quite common?

Is there an easy workaround/way for me to fix this in the meantime?
