    The plugin works great…

I do need some help, though.

I have been developing a client’s site and imported her Blogger site. She has since written about 10 new posts. I need to either know how to import just those posts or how to remove everything and start over with the plugin. I would rather not have to install WordPress again.

There was a help post which gave a MySQL query but it did not work for me.

    Any ideas?

Thanks so much for your help!

Figured it out…I uninstalled and removed instances of “bie” in the Options table in the database. After reinstalling, activating, and reauthorizing, I ran Blogger Importer Extended, and it successfully imported the new posts/comments.

I would love to fix this problem myself – but I don’t understand your fix. Can you please be more specific? Is this something that the creator can fix so that it is easy to update?

Most likely your web host will help walk you through this. I had the same issue, then did some digging and finally found the files in my cpanel, under Databases, myPHPAdmin (the site in question is hosted at GoDaddy). I expanded the list to show 100,000 files (knowing this would show them all, even though the actual count is much lower), then I simply did a page search (CTRL+F) for “bie” to find the unwanted files. I think there were 3-4 files with “bie” in it.

Remember to first disconnect your Blogger blog from the BIE plugin, then delete the plugin through the usual WordPress plugin manager on your site. After that, you’re ready to delete the files. Once I deleted the 3-4 files containing “bie” (and only those files), then reinstalled the BIE plugin and reran the migration, everything worked perfectly.

If you’re not comfortable getting in the cpanel yourself, call your host and tell them that you installed, used, then deleted a Blogger content migration plugin, but you need to rerun the plugin, and you cannot do so until some residual files are removed.

Will this solution import everything again or just the new posts?

I seriously could kiss you right now grimesgw!! I have been struggling with this problem for the past two weeks and your fix worked! So happy to have this resolved!

Was wondering same as @pedrokwanko if this just brings in new posts or everything?

ah okay just reread and realised it means reimporting everything

Hi there, I read yours solutions for importing new posts and tried to re do it on my own website. I did removed bonded account and uninstall the app and then deleted 3 files in wp_options database with ‘BIE’ in them.

I tried to install app again and import new posts. The app see the new posts, it shows 419/423 post status, but still doesn’t import them.

Could WordPress 4.6.1 be the problem or is there any other solution for that problem?
