  • After the update to 4.4, some images were appearing pixelated on retina screens. Disabling responsive images handling in 4.4 with this plugin has fixed it.
    As much as responsive images are the future of the web, they weren’t broken for me before 4.4, even though CSS was being used to resize images exclusively. I can deal with some mild jaggies on retina screens, but awful pixelation due to the 4.4 upgrade is unacceptable.
    I’m sure it will be fixed when everything else catches up.
