• Update. Quickly fixed but they didn’t update the version numbering, meaning having to remove the plugin and re-add it or manually (re)downloading and unzipping the files.

    Sadly had to disable this plugin as it broke the admin pages. Can’t re-enable the plugin as I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'W3TC\UserExperience_Plugin_Admin' not found in /wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Root_Loader.php:49 Stack trace: #0 /wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Root_Loader.php(165): W3TC\Root_Loader->__construct() #1 /wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/w3-total-cache.php(67): require_once('/var/www/...') #2 /wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2255): include('/var/www/...') #3 /wp-admin/plugins.php(177): plugin_sandbox_scrape('w3-total-cache/...') #4 {main} thrown in /wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Root_Loader.php on line 49

    Hello @dmgeurts

    I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing.
    The issue occurred after the update. The problem causing the fatal error was due to an update to the plugin, and it did not include all of the files in the first commit for some reason. Our development team noticed it pretty quickly, were able to include the necessary files, so it should not happen to anyone else moving forward. The window was only a little more than 10 minutes.

    If you do experience the fatal error on upgrade, rolling back to 0.13.1 then updating again should correct the problem. WP Rollback is pretty good at helping you roll back the plugin if need be.

    All sorted, I saw on the support threads that it was fixed. So I manually downloaded the updated zip file on the server and replaced the plugin folder.

    A neater solution would be to up the version numbering, that way also those few who updated in those 10 minutes would get a notification about an updated plugin.

    My review is a 5 star one, the plugin has been active for a fair while and has so far done a good job on my site. Thank you.
