Worked Seamlessly – Thank You

  • Using Markup Markdown, I was able to edit directly in MarsEdit and sync flawlessly with my standalone WordPress installation. This plugin integrates perfectly with my workflow, making it easy to manage content without additional complications.

    I’ve previously tried other solutions, including Jetpack, but I prefer not to have Automattic (Jetpack’s parent company) reading my documents as I write. While Jetpack’s Markdown support works, it feels bloated and sends all my data and writing to Automattic before I can upload it to my own WordPress server.

    Markup Markdown is a far lighter and more privacy-conscious option for those looking for a direct Markdown editing experience. Highly recommend!

    I’m happy the plugin works with MarsEdit, I didn’t get the chance to use it recently as I don’t use much macos anymore. The app has been on the market since a few decades now and I’m glad to hear that it’s smoothly usable with Markup Markdown ??

    About Jetpack it was working great last time I tried it, still the case I guess. I haven’t considered privacy options, you made a point ??. Most of those convenient tools relies on cloud-like based services using redundant data anyway, and I like the feeling of owning and editing “straightly” my data ??
