Worked without a glitch

It took me a bit of to-and-froing to realise i had to delete the WordPress installation that already existed on the new domain, but once i had figured that out, exporting the package from the old site, uploading the installer.php and zip files via FTP and then going through the installation wizard could not have worked better.
