workign with coldfusion and wordpress

Hi,

I have an existing site in coldfusion and I wanted to combine some of the existing database call functions (to list things in the database) with a separate wordpress site i have. Is there a way to do this? Perhaps widget of some sort?

I host the wordpress site, so I have control over the environment if that helps.
