Working links in archives

  • On my index.php all the links & images in my posts works but when I view the archive for a post, the links are disabled & the images don’t show.
    Is there a way to solve this?

    I’ve found the answer, please close this.

    Maybe you culd post what you found so when some of us go looking for an answer we’re not completely disappointed?

    Well, it has been asked more than 1,000 times… Usually the archive.php template files use the_excerpt tag and not the_content tag.

    Thank you. Perhaps it *has* been asked 1,000 times, but when I queried for this search, this was only one of 8 hits, and as it turns out, not what I’m looking for – which is why it’s important to state what answer has been found.

    Obviously, posting a link with the info isn’t helpful either because 15 minutes later you are still complaining about the same thing which is explained at the link I provided above ??

    You’ll notice it’s not the same problem,, but I wouldn’t have known that if they’d posted the resolution in the first place.

    So (rightly so) I’m still complaining.
