    Wow – sounds way too awkward & a recipe for trouble.
    Sounds like you using oneplugin to append a shortcode generated by my plugin to posts that will hopefully cause another plugin to generate some html or js or something. whew!

    Since my plugin essentially adds a content filter (traps the widget output and sends it back when wp applies the content filters (eg shortcodes)) Anything that appends content to posts is also just applying a content filter, so that may be your problem – ie you have nested content filters happening and clashing somehow. Or maybe one filter fires (the post signature) but unless IT (ie the post signature plugin then ALSO applies the content filters then wordpress doesn’t get to call the widget.

    I’d strongly suggest that either:

    • put the follow us widget in a widget area that appears on the single post template maybe in a footer or sidebar – keep it cleaner/simpler. Especially since it uses iframes and you may find your post archives messed up/invalid.
    • talk to the ‘follow us’ people to ask if they have a ‘add to posts’ option
    • Use a different follow us plugin that can add to posts
