    FYI, I spent months trying to reach the plugin owner but couldn’t.

    So I’m gonna fork the plugin, fix it a little and continue work on it.

    Update: Fixed a few obvious errors (the plugin is in need of a huge overhaul)

    Use at your own risk, remember to backup your site before attempting

    Currently fixed: PHP7 errors, some private string fixes and widget constructor issues.

    sounds great with the rewrite of the plugin. Have you gotten in contact with the user that wanted to report security issues?
