• Hi.

WordPress 4.3 and WP Editor 1.2.5.2 here, in a first time installation and usage profile, with the purpose to have at last syntax highlighting when I am editing a post and I click the Text tab, to view its source code.

At first the plugin looked great. I had a post that I already had opened in the wordpress post editor, that was already in Text mode, I reloaded the page after activating the plugin, and, hoo, it was perfect.

A minute later I realized that now, though, if I click the Visual mode, and click again to view the Text mode, the text mode “window” does not *replace* the visual mode “window”. Nope, I’m made to scroll down in the window, and I discover that, under my post, there is now another “window”, in which there’s the source code.

Changing text in the Visual window or the Text window doesn’t immediately port the changes to the other window, so that makes me believe this is a bug and not a functionality, but of course there’s no telling for me.

If it is a feature and not a bug, though, would you consider simply replacing the Text tab entirely, hiding the Visual tab when we click it ?

(Also, the default font isn’t the best to read online. I’m a weirdo loving Myriad Web Pro in N++, but maybe a few choices wouldn’t hurt.)

Still, thanks for the plugin! I’ll check it out later, in a month or two, with high hopes ??

    Sabinoo,

Thanks for your review! I think that the way you expect it to work is the way it is designed. Can you try updating to the latest version of WordPress and WP editor and see if that fixes it?

If not, try deactivating other plugins and see if there is a conflict there. It sounds like it may be related to a Javascript error.
