• I have been using this file manager on multiple sites for over two years and never had a problem with it. I use it because it saves me time vs. logging into my hosting account. Also, for development sites, it’s great to be able to give other admins code-level access without having to give them access to the hosting account.

One caveat: If you mess up code, you can bring the site down (through no fault of the plugin) and won’t be able to get back in (because the plugin runs inside WordPress), so be ready to get access to the same files via the hosting account just in case if the site can’t be down for long.

    Hey greentreefrog,

    Thanks for the positive review.

We are glad to hear that you have been using our file manager on multiple sites for over two years and never had a problem with it. We appreciate your feedback and your support.

We agree that our file manager is a great tool to save time and give code-level access to other admins. However, we also understand that editing code can be risky and sometimes cause errors or crashes.

To avoid inconvenience and downtime, we suggest that you edit the code on the staging sites before pushing it live. This way, you can test the changes and make sure they work as expected. If something goes wrong, you can easily revert to the previous version without affecting the live site.

    We hope this helps.

    Warms Regards,
    WP File Manager Support Team
