Working with Disqus comments

    Just wondering though… is there any way to get the likes/comments pulled in from social media to show up in Disqus comments? I like the look and functionality of Disqus, but it’s not displaying any new comments pulled in by Social from shared posts. If anyone has any ideas for editing either plugin code so Disqus would be notified of and display comments that Social imports from Facebook, etc, I’d be ridiculously grateful! ??

    PS – old comments show up just fine after importing into Disqus, and new comments are still being generated, but Disqus just doesn’t register them and they don’t show up unless I deactivate Disqus.

    I did not. I talked with their tech support via e-mail and they pointed out a scrip in the plugin folder which you could use for a cron job that may have worked at one time, but they said it’s not an actively supported feature, and I couldn’t get it to work for me. I basically gave up… But good luck, and if you figure it out, please let me know?
