    Hi,

I just recently found TablePress and I think it’s awesome so I’ll transform all the hand-coded HTML pricing tables to TablePress. My problem now is that my current tables are written with theme short codes and with TablePress turned on they don’t show up on the pages.

How can I switch-off TablePress for specific pages to make sure the old tables get displayed while some other tables are using TablePress already?

    Hi,

thanks for your question and sorry for the trouble!

Unfortunately, I don’t see a solution for this here ?? Activating/deactivating the plugin just on certain pages is not possible without major headaches.

Your best chances here are to copy/paste the generated HTML code of the themes that the theme’s Shortcode generate and then use that for the import into TablePress.

Now, if you give me an example of how/where the data is stored for the theme’s Shortcode, I might be able to suggest other options.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate it.

An example of the old tables can be found here: https://figuradekor.hu/termekek/torzok/talpak-es-allvanyok/ (Now I actually deactivated the plugin to make the tables display well, but if I activate the plugin it will look like this: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s56/sh/ff70da1f-7475-48dd-98fe-aa88d43e8eaa/1f156bfbcd85af90c1b77328e36b465b

If there’s no solution, I’ll still use your plugin because some manual work (probably through Odesk) certainly worths it.

    Best,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

thanks for the example. Now, what I meant was more this: How or where do you enter/edit the data?

    Hi,

I used the manual editing (copy-pasted a csv that I created manually). Data is shown correctly.

    Hi Dan,

I’m confused now ?? Did you use that copy/paste to get the data into TablePress or to make it work with the theme’s Shortcode?

In the end, you should migrate everything to TablePress, that will be the best option.

    Regards,
    Tobias
