Next to MailPoet I also use the qtranslate-xt plugin that adds more languages to the wordpress frontend by using tags in posts and pages like [:de]Titel[:en]Title[:]. Unfortunately MailPoet’s post notifications puts the whole content with the tags into the mails.

Is there a chance to handle this? To assign a specific language to a specific list?

    Hi @jandieckmann,

MailPoet does not directly support qTranslate. However, you can still use MailPoet with these plugins to send standard newsletters.

Please, check our Support for Multilingual Plugins page for more details. More specifically the How to Set Up MailPoet on a Multilingual Website section.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello,

unfortunately not. I already found this page before but hoped to get an answer that prevent me from changing plugins or looking for other solutions.

MultilingualPress is very outdated and WeGlot is providing more than I need and to expensive at this moment for me.

    Thank you so far.

    Hi there @jandieckmann,

I’m sorry to hear that qTranslate is not working smoothly with MailPoet.

Since MailPoet doesn’t support it directly, we typically recommend creating separate posts of different languages and create separate Post Notification emails for posts of each language. You can use tags or categories to classify them.

    Cheers!

Yes, I understand your recommendation. As I mentioned at the beginning the qtranslate plugin is working with tags inside one post, instead of separate posts for each language.

Sometimes thing just aren’t working optimal together. I still have to figure out what I will replace or how to compromise because both work fine for me on all the other aspects ??

    Thanks for carrying anyway!
