    Hello,

I can’t seem to get this plugin to work with custom fields. I’m using WC Fields Factory for customers to input a name with each product added to cart but when I repeat that order it doesn’t re-add the names/custom fields.

Also, if the original order is 2 items, it only adds 1 to the cart.

    Any help appreciated!

    Hello @page52,

we check your request regarding the custom fields (Plugin WC Fields Factory). Please understand that we need some time for the analysis.

Regarding the problem “Also, if the original order is 2 items, it only adds 1 to the cart.” –> we checked it and both products have been added to our shopping cart. Only the custom field are not showing in the order (but we check that).

As soon as our analysis is done we will get back to you.

    Best regards, Poly-res Team

Thank you Ulf, appreciate you taking a look at this! I’ll wait to hear more. Perhaps it didn’t take the second item across because it had different custom fields entered?

    Hello @page52,

it took us a little longer than we thought for the analysis. Unfortunately we can’t give you an positive feedback. The plugin “WC Fields Factory” does not support the functionality to reorder the defined fields.

But what we have tested are the two popular plugins “WooCommerce Product Add-On (Link: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/)” and the YITH plugin “YITH WooCommerce Advanced Product Options (Free & Premium, Link: https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-product-add-ons/)”. With these plugins, the fields are transferred when a new order is placed.

We recommend that you contact the developers of “WC Fields Factory” and ask them to support the standard functionality of WooCommerce “Re-Order”. The other two plugins can do the same. We can’t implement such functionality in our plugin. We are looking forward to your feedback, if this would be an option for you.

    Your poly-res Team
