Working with sample data / trial license

    I’m a web developer trying to get a website working with this plugin. I’ve learned from reading other discussions here that the current trial license only points to sample data. That’s fine – I can work with that, but I need to know what cities, etc, I can point to that will actually populate with the sample data.

    Happy to help! The sample data includes approx. 100 fake listings from the following cities:

    Laguna Beach
    Newport Beach
    Mission Viejo
    Huntington Beach
    Lake Forest
    Santa Monica
    Irvine
    Redondo Beach
    Laguna Woods

    When you download the plugin, it will automatically give you the BASIC version of the plugin. If you’d like to try the PRO version, which includes many more features / functionality, contact our Support Team and request they activate the PRO version for testing purposes.

    Just be sure to include the name you used when signing up for the trial version so they can find the account and properly activate it for the sample data.

    Also, couple tips:

    The plugin generates links automatically for each county, city, community, tract, zip. And you can use those anywhere on the site.

    For example…

    Domain.com/idx/county/county-name
    Domain.com/idx/city/city-name
    Domain.com/idx/community/community-name
    Domain.com/idx/tract/tract-name
    Domain.com/idx/zip/12345

    Using some of the cities above…

    Domain.com/idx/city/laguna-beach
    Domain.com/idx/city/irvine
    Domain.com/idx/city/newport-beach

    For “county”… some MLSs send us the data without “county” on the end. Some send us with “county” on the end. So, it will be dependent on what MLS your agent is a member of whether that’s included.

    In the sample data… “county” is excluded from the name so it would be listed like this…

    Domain.com/idx/county/los-angeles
    Domain.com/idx/county/orange

    Sample data does not include any fake tract names or community names currently. But most MLSs do send us either both or at least one of those fields if they exist.
