Working with Sidebars

  • Hey guys,

    I’ve picked up the management of a site from a previous admin so I’m still trying to learn all the ropes. One of the problems I’m having is the page sidebar: I cant see it. Under the Widgets tab I can add or remove widgets to any of the sidebars, but the only one that shows anything is the footer sidebar, and that’s not what my client wants.

    Any ideas?

    I am a bit confused because I am seeing the same calendar on the homepage that is on your news page. In a different position mind you but again that is because your homepage of your theme doesn’t support the right sidebar.

    Yeah unfortunately that’s what my employer is after: that same calendar but in the position it’s in on the news page on other pages as well, like the Home Page.

    I guess there’s no way of doing it then :\

    Yeah unfortunately that theme just doesn’t allow a right sidebar..I mean if you had help custom coding it then it might work. I would say contact the theme developer directly to see if there is any chance. Unfortunately, I am not a coder.
