Working with the RSS Widget

  • I love the idea of the RSS widget. But it seems very hard to customize.

    1) If I leave the title blank, it seems to automatically pull the feed title and force it to be there. Is there some way to override this?

    2) Secondly, there seems to be a sizable delay for updating it. IS this adjustable?

    Note that it’s 5 posts delayed. Also, the title is only blank because I put a “nbsp” in the field, but it still forces me to have that little RSS icon and line.

    Any cure for this? I know HTML very well, but there seems to be no way to edit the template for this widget.
