Working with WP Roles

    Hello,

    We have a site with a number of WP user roles, the roles give a user access to specific post categories,now we would like to find out if a user registers and selects a user role can subscribe2 be able to subscribe them to those specific post categories ONLY based on the role the user has selected at registration.

    No is the very short answer. I suspect the roles functionality the limits access to specified categories is via another plugin so it would need the two plugins to be review and made to work together.

    Thanks, any chance you know a (commercial or free) membership plugin or any plugin that has this functionality ?
