    Simple and unobtrusive.

    Only small hiccup with the redirect when the website is configured to work with https, but the login attempt is on a non-encrypted link (http).

    Now I configured HSTS and a permanent redirect to https with .htaccess (BEFORE the request reaches WordPress) and all is fine.
