Works but adds custom checkout fields!

  • Although this plugin works, it adds two custom required fields “Straat”(street) and “Nr” (number).

    This was not mentioned and messed up our checkout (and still messes it up for addresses outside the Netherlands). Be aware!

    Hello @cocobelt,
    If your theme follows WooThemes practices, these custom fields are only added for The Netherlands and the Address 1 and Address 2 fields are disabled – for other countries, these fields are preserved and the Street and Number fields are not added. If your theme does not play nice with this, send and email to MyParcel support and they should be able to help you.

    This separation is necessary because this is the format in which PostNL requires the data. Automatic separation is not foolproof, especially with address that have number in them (Laan `40-45 19).
