Works, but somehow messes up other things

  • Not compatible with Divi theme.

    Whenever this plugin is enabled with Divi theme on a page with Divi Page Editor, the slug and other metadata of pages get reset whenever you reopen the page editor, having to set it again every time you save.

    It works for what is intended, but there are better alternatives that do not mess with the page editor. (I recommend Yoast SEO for this, it has facebook opengraph and much more)

    Sorry to hear it messes with Divi theme. As you can probably imagine achieving compatibility with every single theme and or plugin out there is a big ask, and especially more-so for ones I’ve never heard of and don’t use (I never use 3rd party themes – I always build my own from scratch). So I do hear the occasional “it doesn’t work with my theme”.

    Also sorry to report as this sounds like an isolated incident when used with Divi theme on a page with Divi Page Editor (but it’s fine for 10,000+ other users), I can’t invest any time and apparently $69 to get my hands on Divi theme even if I thought this issue was worth investigating. It just wouldn’t make sense especially for something I give away and maintain for free and get nothing in return for.

    My best suggestion is to use an alternative plugin for your open graph needs.
