• Works much better than the iframe solution my client had previously. Easy to customize with CSS, too. Developer is very responsive, and that’s impressive for a free plugin!

    Hey @savagesites,

Thanks for the review and for using our plugin.

First, we feel the notice is really non disturbing (considering what sometimes happens with other WordPress plugins)

Second, the notice should disappear for 6 months from the second you dismiss it. Isn’t that the case for you?

I’d love to help debug that if it’s not dismissing, and we’ll consider dismissing it for good but this small notice helps us support our open source plugins.

Hi, and thanks for your response. No, it does not disappear, and it was so annoying that I added a php snippet to disable the notice.

It’s true that your notice is more subtle than many (like Yoast’s Black Friday notice–crazy). I’m fine with a notice I can close for six months, and I appreciate the free plugin. But the fact that it keeps coming back is what bugs me.

I’ll send you a login to my development site if you want to test it. And will edit my rating because it’s a good plugin and you responded so quickly and kindly. Thanks!

    Hi again,

Yeah please do send us the login details to the dev site, we’d be happy to check that out!

Obviously the notice really shouldn’t come back sooner than 6 months, or be a nagging notice. We dislike those bulky and nagging notifications when we use other plugins ourselves, and we definitely don’t want our plugins to be in that group.
