Works fine in any theme…

  • It works fine in any theme, unless you want to charge for submissions or have resumes also on your site. Then you have to buy the necessary addons (and sometimes install 3rd party plugins as well) before you get that functionality. I found a theme for a relative price that does all this and is skinnable with free child themes, and costs less than all of the addons added together – not cool.

    @whiteeagle1985 If you choose a theme with that functionality, you are pretty much locked into said theme forever. A plugin allows you to change.

    I don’t think its unreasonable to charge for extra functionality (in particular paid submissions and resumes) when this:

    a) makes the site owner money
    b) helps support the development of the free plugin

    If I have no way to monetize a plugin, I’m not going to be able to devote as much to time to the development or support of the core free plugin.

    Consider that ??
