• (I use WordPress 4.4.2, Foogallery 1.2.8 and Polylang 1.1.8)

    In your last changelog i see: Works now with Polylang translation plugin

    But your Plugin say:
    FooGallery + Polylang Alert : We noticed that you have Polylang installed and you have chosen to activate languages and translations for media.
    This may cause empty galleries on translated pages! To disable this feature, please visit Settings -> Languages -> Settings Tab.

    For me is not a option to disable Settings -> Languages -> Settings Tab because i need this feature of Polylang.

    Are there any other solutions?

    I don’t understand your statement “Works now with Polylang translation plugin”. You would have to say: “Works now with Polylang translation plugin, when Polylang have disable the feature XY”.

    Or I understand something wrong?

    Before the update, FooGallery did not work with Polyland at all.
    The update you found in the changelog got the 2 plugins working together, but there is a catch as mentioned in the alert. It is due to how Polylang makes copies of posts to handle the different languages.

    Are you getting empty galleries for the different languages?

    First: I have activate this in Polylang:
    Wordpress> Settings -> Languages -> Settings Tab > Media.
    This Polylang Option is important for me e surrly also for others. I need the possibility to have different immages in the languages. So I am irritated that your plugin proposes to disable this option.

    With this Polylang option activ e and also with this Polylang Option deactive (I testet) I geeting empty galleries.

    My last setting:
    Wordpress> Settings -> Languages -> Settings Tab > Media : active
    Your alert is shown.
    When I use the Text Editor, then I can insert your Shortcode. I save the page, the gallery is displayed. But when I switch from Text to Visual Editor and when I save the page again then the gallery turn is empty.

    Summary:
    I search a solution with WordPress > Settings -> Languages -> Settings Tab > Media: active

    Thanks
