Works ok on WP 3.4, not on WP 3.5

  • This site it is working sweet:
    WordPress version 3.4.2
    BackWPup version 3.0.10 Get pro.

    These 3 sites it is not working:
    WordPress version 3.5
    BackWPup version 3.0.10 Get pro.

    They are all on the same web host, I have set all configuration settings the same, re-installed the plugin. It is just freezing at this point:

    I have changed permissions on the folders, renamed them, etc… I have tried everything. Any thoughts?

    Why the hell do my posts keep bein deleted, I wrote lots more info, and again, deleted for no reason? Its RUDE. I am taking the time to write all this and a wordpress admin deletes it for whatever reason without batting an eyelid. Arrogant fuckers!

    Unfortunately BackWPup release 3.0.x of this otherwise really great plugin is currently broken for many people in various setups.

    As an alternative you can e.g. use the last 2.x version, as I do, 2.1.7 is available here and avoid the update-message for 3.0.x with a small code-snippet. As soon as 3.1 will be released some day, which maybe works better again, the update message will show again.

    I’m also getting the same thing. I updated:

    WP to latest 3.5 release.
    BACKWPUP to 3.0.12 from a 2.x version

    It’s now generating the error:

    The HTTP response test get a false http status (404)

    Do we really have to go all the way back to a 2.x version. Aren’t any of the 3.x versions working?
