Works only based on categories, not on titles

  • Implementation ok, but technically the related posts shown are just from the same category. The plugin does not seem to bother about similar titles for example.

    Yes, the relevancy isn’t the best right now but we have a beta version with an improved recommendation engine if you want to try it out?

    Yes, I actually did and categories prime over titles.

    I have a WordPress site with products (each product is a post), which are in categories, like shoes and bags. The “shoe” category and the “bag” category are in the same parent category, called “accessories”.

    So now, for example I am checking out some shoes, and the related posts are all bags.

    I guess that is because they are in the same parent category, but these posts are not at all related.

    I would rather think that if my post title is “something shoe”, the related posts should at least have similar post titles or post contents, containing either the word “something” or the word “shoe”.

    what do you think?

    There is a follow up I need to make here.
    Relation works pretty well now. Maybe due to me having more articles, maybe due to the latest updates.
    So thank you, works great.

    The only thing i dont like is the link you add on the frontend :/
