• I like this plugin, but I have some complaints and suggestions.
I put in one test download after entering my api keys for fb, g+ and twit…
I published the post, but got no information about how to use it (where’s the documentation?).
I figured out that it provides a short code so I put that on the hello world post.
Visited the post and there is only the following…
a link saying ‘text’ (where can I change that to something meaningful?).
clicking that link opens display of the fb, g+ and twitter icons with a button saying ‘Generate’ (where can I change the button text to something more meaningful?).
I was able to post to g+ and twit with no major probs other than the twitter post includes my api key or something like that which makes the post extremely too long. please fix that.
I was not able to post to facebook at all as the link to post is dead (has a # in it instead of a live link) – please fix that.
I unchecked fb on the setup page and tried the process again.
I realized at that time that there is no text saying what is available for download, nor that it requires sharing to access it. There’s lots of stuff in the setup that if it were displayed instead of the ‘text’ word link that would suffice, but that’s not happening – please fix this.
Anyway, I shared on g+ and twit and was then able to click Generate.
At that time, I got an error popup saying “please share on google+ and twitter”, but I had just done that so please fix this – I didn’t get a download.
Go to https://worldprofit.download/download to test for yourselves.
I refreshed my page, repeated the process. This time I still got a popup but it said ‘Disabled’. However, I then received my download.
So it ‘sort of works. but is major painful with all the issues I’m reporting above.
I’d like to keep using this, but will definitely need you to fix everything reported ASAP or will have to move on to something else.
