Works Perfect

  • Finally a nice simple plugin to change the comment email notifier! It also overrides the default WP email, which some other plugins do not do without changing other things around on your site. I do not like the way WP sends private commenter information to the post author by default, such as IP address, email address (jeesu…really wordpress??) and Whois. Now my comment emails only contain the comment author, post link, and the comment in the message body. Perfect for my site user’s needs and privacy. Thanks!

    Thank you Bekster5! It is those exact same security concerns, together with the need to customize the email, that drove me to create this plugin. I’m glad that it is working for you!
