I manage the site for a scrap metal recycling company, so we use WooCommerce not just to sell our own products, but also to list the prices that we buy materials at.

Allowing me to turn off the “Add to cart” button for just the materials that we buy and keep it there for the products we sell has allowed me to get a lot more versatility out of WooCommerce than the base plug-in would normally allow for.
