• This plugin does its job, perfectly. It even runs bad code too. In other words, it will do whatever you tell it to do. I mention this because of all the 1 star reviews that say this plugin crashed sites. It will help to crash your site, by running the bad code you give it to run, otherwise the Code Snippets plugin cannot crash your site all on its own.

I’m busy installing it on all my sites and it will be installed by default on all new sites going forward as there are a few things I need to permanently hide from all my sites using the functions.php file. It is also going to give me options to change various behaviours on my sites on a case by case basis without having to create and work with an entire child theme just to modify the functions.php file.

Thank you very much for the review! I definitely appreciate the point about bad code.

Come to think of it, does it/can it highlight bad code, before you save and run it? such as syntax errors? I deliberately added a bad syntax and it saved, but oddly enough it didn’t crash anything and the code kept running ok. Maybe the bad syntax wasn’t bad enough. My theme highlights bad css when customising that, but it will still save and run it, if you so choose to.

Edit: yes, it does highlight a line of bad code, before you save and run it. So yea, no one can blame this plugin for crashing their site. You will be warned.
