• This is excellent, after some tweaking it works perfectly. I wanted a video to appear in the header, but I realised not all themes call the header class “.header” So I went to my page in my Chrome browser, and right clicked on the header and selected “Inspect element”

The CSS code to the left looked like this:

    <!–HEADER –>
    div class= “header-wrapper”

    etc etc..

I entered “.header-wrapper” in the box suggested for the video to appear in the header, and it works like a charm The video stretches 100% and repeats in a loop like I want.

thanks for this great plugin, I will donate

    Jim

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the kinds words!

This is probably the best way to find a particular element on the page. Most modern browsers now offer an “Inspect Element.” To use it, right clicking on the part of the page you would like to add the video background too and select “Inspect Element” from the menu. Take note of what class or ID that element has, and enter it in the container field on the Video Background plugin.

    Have a great day!

A privilege and an honour Blake

Off topic now, but Pixabay–famous for free non-attribution images are now including free videos and animations

this is not an advert for my site, trust me, but a demo of how your plugin works

We in Scotland don’t say “have a great day”

    We say “Hae a guid journey”… ??

    Jim,

That looks great! I’m a real fan of the semi-transparent header!

Thank you for linking your site, I’m sure those that want to see more examples will appreciate it.

I’m glad to see the plugin is being used in Scotland, I always get joy when I see my work implemented across the world!

In that case, Hae a guid journey ??
