I haven’t tried multiple plugins to create and manage WebPs, this is the first I tried and it seems to work pretty well.
It has a problem with servers that are set up to use a CDN — the redirection scheme that steers newer browsers to use the WebP images doesn’t work in that case and the plugin posts an error message on the dashboard. It’s not clear whether there’s a way to make it work; I haven’t tried all the settings yet.
