‘Update Existing Users’ works, but not new registrations

  • The plugin does remove the drop-down menu for “display name publicly as” but only changes the display name to first and last when I manually do the ‘Update Existing Users’ function. With new registrations, I still see the nickname displayed instead.

    Can you share what registration system (WordPress core or a plugin) you are using? And also how you are capturing First and Last name for your user registrations?

    I can run a test locally and try to see where the conflict is.

    I have the same problem. The registration system is buddypress.
