Works Very Well

  • This is the gold standard for free contact form plugins on WordPress. It does require some attention on the part of the user, but if you work carefully and precisely through the settings, the result works very well. Also, for those skilled with CSS, it can be styled to make the forms suit whatever look you want them to have. Those not skilled with CSS will need to consult a developer in order to style the forms.

  • I cannot agree more. Where the failings are (IMO) is the ease in which tracking is done. All of the right hooks seem to be there but the code snippets and documentation which I have found thus far have made non standard form tracking a pain in the rear. That said it is a free plugin and works well.

    As you say, the hooks are there. Maybe you want to create a plugin that extends CF7?
