• For anyone finding that this plugin didn’t work, here’s how I used it:

    I used the “view page source” option in my browser, then the “find” function. Once I located the footer text I wanted to remove, I just selected it, replete with its surrounding HTML code (which you’ll see in brackets) – then copied that into my clipboard.

    Then I went to this plugin’s settings and pasted the aforementioned code into the “Step 1” form field. You don’t even need to replace that text with anything; you can leave “Step 2” blank and then just hit the “Save” button.
