Works well, lacks schema.org
-
This is a very good plugin, which I have been using for years. I’m not using the advanced features such as booking and tickets, so can’t speak for those.
I’m editing my review and downgrade it to four stars. The main feature lacking is schema.org-features.
While there are options for exporting to a calender (google, webcal, ical), adding schema.org would improve search results and accessibility. An event plugin should have schema.org implemented by 2019. Adding classes for each placeholder should be added alongside schema.org. That would be great for styling of events.Other features that would improve the plugin would be someway to import from Facebook events, and a simpler way to add a link Facebook-events. (Currently I added Facebook-link as a custom attribute, and then use that to add a Facebook button on my events).
Similarly, an option to add all (or filtered) events to a public Google calendar would be nice.New edit:
The lack of integration with block editor is starting to be big draw, and I now downgrade my review to three stars.
Make shortcodes into blocks, update to blocks instead of widgets, switch to block editor for events editing.
My feature requests from 2019 would also be nice though.
