• WooCommerce is the most widely used eCommerce plugin for WP, and the initial core software is free. It gets sticky when you want to set up the CONVOLUTED shipping options. Anything other than flat-fee or free.

    USPS calculated shipping costs another $80/year. UPS shipping costs another $80/year. If you want to do anything beyond simple shipping (ie free shipping for orders over $150) another plugin. It all adds up, and it gets expensive.

    Product variations are also difficult to set up, as it takes two different tabs/screens to initiate. Not something my clients can tackle or even manage effectively.

    I wish that WC would pay attention to heuristics and UX the next time they do a redesign.
