Plugin won’t uninstall correctly and only the paid version is mobile friendly

I had the free version of this plugin to tests and noticed that the resizing to mobile was not working. The “fix” is to upgrade to the pro version that is apparently mobile friendly.

Looking further I noticed that the plugin was not tested with the current version of wordpress (last update 8 months ago) and the support forum seemed to be abandoned so I decided to uninstall the plugin

After uninstalling, the image icon that the plugin placed in the TinyMCE editor was still visible and clickable but to a broken link. The plugin owners have offered very little practical help to remove the upload image icon that was placed there by the plugin on installation as it clearly states in the plugins description.

They have blamed other plugins for the issue and even suggested I upgrade to pro to fix the issues.

Not a very happy potential customer and I have removed the plugin but am still left with a broken image upload icon that opens a dialogue box that doesn’t work.

Obviously the plugin is leaving some residue behind that should be cleaned up on uninstall.
