It’s one thing to upload media files to a (migrated) WordPress site. It’s another thing for WordPress media library to actually recognize the media in the database. That’s where this plugin comes in. You may need to deactivate other plugins while you do run “Add From Server” (ie: Wordfence). Otherwise, you will get messages saying this plugin is insecure. But “Add From Server” is likely going to be a one-time deal during a migration or restoration of deleted files. It would be nice though if it could add from the entire uploads folder, rather than having to go into each year/month to add images.
