Works with Windows as well

I downloaded this plugin without realising it wasn’t supposed to work with Windows servers. So I got to work building my first pages. Got it all working in under an hour apart from file uploads which were uploading but then not displaying.

Thanks to Thom and his amazing fast response to support queries, the problem was tracked down to folder permissions. So if you are thinking of trying this on a windows box with IIS 8, just remember to set the correct permissions on the windows/temp folder. you will need to allow and grant the right permissions to IIS_IUSRS.

This is because PHP routes all uploads through the temp folder, but then when it is moved to its final destination, it doesn’t inherit permissions from the receiving folder, rather it retains the permissions from the temp folder. Apparently this by design according to Microsoft
