Works with WP 5.8 and PHP 8, sweet

  • For easy changes to the .htaccess file, this plugin maybe the quickest solution. Also, the built-in automatic backup is a nice feature.

    Don’t rely too much on the syntax checker. I was unable to trigger it, testing three different edits that surely would break the file. Now I wasn’t really expect that to be more than a very basic safety net anyway, so no big deal to me.

    Tested in WordPress 5.8 and with PHP 8. Pleasantly surprised that the plugin supports the latest versions of WP and PHP.
