works with www only !

  • I want my wordpress be accessible with or without www

    but some how it keeps redirecting to www

    my htaccess does not have any redirect

    Hi there,

    Are you able to share a link to the site? One way I can think of seeing what could be causing that is using the command line/terminal and using curl to see where that redirect might be coming from. Alternatively you could also use the browser tools under the network section to see where those redirects are coming from as well. I’ve seen a plugin do redirects before so that’s also one avenue to look into.

    The reason I ask is that some search engines have indexed the site without

    www now that I have changed the settings in wordpress to www the non wwww version just get redirected and search engines do not like it
